One of the really nifty things about using #PieFed and federation is if you want to stick with Mastodon et al. but still "join" a community on Human Web Collective, you can just paste the community URL into your search and follow from there.

Then anything posted there gets boosted by, say, @ai_free and when you reply to one of those posts, it shows up as a comment on the PieFed instance.

I know this is all Fedi 101, but it still feels magical and cool! 😁
