What's the PieFed/Lemmy equivalent to r/findareddit? Does one exist? Question

by

The search isn’t terribly useful for finding new communities, tbh. Lots of results with 0 active users. Is there a community here dedicated to helping people find other communities?

Why aren't private communities on PieFed federated? Question

by

Is that different for Lemmy? If so, why is PieFed’s approach to private communities different from Lemmy’s?

What happened here? Does piefed let you send abusive replies to people's inboxes while stopping them from replying? Question

by
A screenshot of the message, with the attached error saying I can't reply

Someone just called me a “hardcore conservative” in an era where that’s basically code for “hardcore climate change denialist” and I had to get a notification for it and see it in my inbox but not be able to reply?

If you hate this meme: is it the template, or the message? Or is there somewhere else I should post this question? Question

by

I recently made one of my best memes yet, but people on piefed/lemmy have hated it so far across multiple communities.

Do PieFed and mbin have the same Tor support issue as Lemmy? Question

by

I got a lot of backlash for a thread on Lemmy the other day about how the “federation” system is fundamentally broken by its lack of Tor support.
